Also called as Zirish, these are a specialty of Kashmir called as Blackberry in English. They contain zero cholesterol, in fact they help lower the 'bad' cholesterol in our body. Rich in Potassium, they help lower sodium and are a powerhouse of micronutrients and vitamins. Tiny, black and sweet in taste, they can be used as natural sweetner in baking and cooking, in pulavs and other recipes.
